arbara Lynn Fournier, 67, of Baileyville died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital in Topeka. Barb was born September 11, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Ernest and Jeanette (Drake) Fournier. She worked in Los Angeles for E.F. Hutton and Paine Webber as a brokerage assistant. Barb lived most of her life in southern California and retired in Baileyville seven years ago. She had a great love for animals, collecting antiques and enjoyed decorating her home.
Barb wanted everyone to know, " I lived a colorful life ".
She was predeceased by her parents; an infant daughter, Debbie Middlebrook; a brother, Donnie Fournier; a sister, Sharon Hommel; an aunt and uncle, Betty and Reggie Middaugh.
Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Middlebrook of Vermillion.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Popkess Memorial Chapel in Seneca is handling arrangements.
