Beulah Mae Cook

Beulah Mae Cook, 80, of Sabetha, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Crestview Nursing & Residential Living home in Seneca, Kansas.

Beulah was born on April 10, 1945, in Falls City, Nebraska, to Rea and Geneva (Graden) Lape. She lived in Salem, Nebraska, until her family moved to the Kansas City area, where she lived most of her adult life.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barbara Solt; and her brother, Raymond Lape.

Beulah is survived by her two sisters, Betty Horton of Overland Park, Kansas, and Beverly Goodman of Sabetha; and her many nieces and nephews.

Beulah's wish was to be cremated. Family and friends will gather at a later date to celebrate her life and spread her ashes on the family farm near Sabetha, where she spent many happy years with her companion, Robert Goodman. Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha, Kansas, is assisting the family with arrangements.
