Bonnie June Reynolds, 92, of Sabetha, Kansas, formerly of Fairview, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Sabetha Manor in Sabetha.
Bonnie was born on June 27, 1932, to James Smith and Daisy (Lafler) Smith in Morrill, Kansas. Bonnie attended school in Morrill and graduated from Morrill High School in 1950. On June 1, 1950, she married Cecil Maurice Reynolds. They were blessed with four children.
Throughout her lifetime, Bonnie worked various jobs, which included working at the local Fairview grocery store, handling the bookkeeping and accounting for her husband's plumbing business, and cooking and washing dishes at the Cozy Café and Checkers in Fairview. She also worked at Walmart in Hiawatha, Kansas, and the Sac & Fox Casino.
In her spare time, Bonnie enjoyed embroidery, cross-stitch, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents in 1988; her husband, Maurice, on October 10, 2000; her sister, Violet Primeaux, in 1973; her daughter, Faye, in 1952; and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth, in 1992.
Bonnie is survived by, and her memory will live on in her children, Judy (Butch) Titus of Topeka, Kansas; Jim (Carol) Reynolds and Jane (Roger) Teske both of Fairview, Kansas; her eight grandchildren; her 17 great-grandchildren; and her 11 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the NorthRidge Church in Sabetha. Before the service, a visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, 656 240th Street, Fairview, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to a fund yet to be designated by the family, sent in care of Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia Street, Sabetha, Kansas 66534.
