Brenda S. Robidoux, 73, of Sabetha Kansas, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka Kansas.
Brenda was born on June 25, 1951, to Cecil Holt and Eizabeth (Street) Holt. She married Roy Robidoux in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1974.
Brenda traveled the world with Roy while he served in the United States Navy. While traveling, Brenda had many different careers including Ombudsman for the command, teaching English to the Japanese, and working in the base commissary. When stationed in Atsugi, Japan, Brenda was crowned Seabee Queen of the ball in 1977. While stationed state side, Brenda worked as a bank teller and secretary for a car dealership.
When the family settled in Hiawatha Kansas, she continued her many career paths. She worked for the Hiawatha Daily World newspaper in advertisement, Sears as a saleswoman, and manager for Sac and Fox service station in Reserve Kansas.
In 2001, she moved to Sabetha where she worked at NCTC, Country Mart, Home Health therapy, and the Sabetha Manor as a Certified Nurse's Aide until she retired.
Brenda loved spending time with friends and always enjoyed dinner with “The Girls.” Brenda will be greatly missed by her family and friends but will forever live on in their hearts and souls.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Dina Holt and Donna Barnett.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Roy; her two sons, Richard and Austin; her five grandchildren, Shane, Shelby, Xylie, Gabby, and Jayslyn; her three great-grandchildren, Zayliegh, Annika, and Zander; her sister, Rita Bradford; and several aunts and uncles.
A service will be announced and held at a later date.
