Caldyn Wasinger

C aldyn David Wasinger, 1-month old son of Austin and Krista Wasinger of Sabetha, met the eyes of Jesus on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018. He was born on Oct. 28, 2018, in Sabetha.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)

Caldyn gave his family — parents Austin and Krista, and siblings Bayley Marie, Myley Gracyn, Daxtyn Wesley and Ryker Thomas — a lifetime of love during his short time on Earth.

He is greeted in Heaven by his great-grandparents, G. Don and Harriet Wasinger and uncle, Taylor Lutgen. He is mourned on Earth by his grandparents, Dave and Karen Wasinger, Tom Lutgen and Sheila Lutgen; great-grandparents, Herb and Olive McReynolds, Leon and Joan Lutgen and Kenneth and Mary Bader; uncles, aunts and cousins, Jared Lutgen, Katelyn (Paul) Arterburn, Leo and Silas, and Lynae (Lee) Freeman and Elsie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at NorthRidge Church in Sabetha. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A private family burial will be held in the Sabetha Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorial contributions may be sent in care of Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia, Sabetha, KS 66534, to be designated at a later date.
