Candance Kubrak

July 10, 1965 — February 5, 2008

Candance Sue Kubrak (Candy), age 42, of Broadview Heights, Ohio, formerly of Seneca, Kansas, joined her Lord on February 5, 2008, following a valiant battle against cancer.

Candy was the loving wife of Jerome, Broadview Heights, Ohio; and daughter of Lucille and the late Robert Kibler, Seneca, Kansas. She is survived by her husband, mother, sister and brother-in-law Cynthia and Frank Sieloff of Chesapeake, Virginia; sister Cheryl Kibler of Manhattan, Kansas; sister Christine Kibler and partner Charles Brost of El Cajon, California; brother Robert, Jr. of Boise, Idaho; brothers-in-law Louis (Laurie), Gregory (Debra), Anthony (Diane), Claude (Raelene), Charles, and Bernard; and sisters-in-law Bernadette Kubrak, and Monica Fiske (Herbert); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Candy always loved music, and shared many passions with her husband, Jerry, including cruises, baseball, indoor soccer, photography, technology, their many teddy bears, and the love for their families and each other.

Candy attended Seneca Elementary School, and graduated from Nemaha Valley High School in 1983. She received a certificate in Data Processing from Manhattan Vo-Tech. She was employed by Majestic Title Agency, Twinsburg, Ohio.

Candy was a baptized and confirmed member of the First Lutheran Church of Sabetha, Kansas.

A memorial service was held on February 9th, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Candy will be returned to her childhood home of Seneca, Kansas for a private graveside burial at Seneca City Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at the United Methodist Church in Seneca, Kansas, at 12:30 PM, Saturday, February 16th.
