David Tozier
July 8, 1920 — December 25, 2007
David J. Tozier, 87, of Fairview (formerly of Salina, KS) passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at his home.
He was born the son of David W. and Maude (Pickering) Tozier on Thursday, July 8, 1920 in Kansas City, MO. He attended and graduated from school in Salina, KS and attended Kansas Weslyan University before serving his country in the US Army during WWII. After earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart in the war, he returned to Kansas Weslyan, and graduated in 1947.
David married Hertha Ann Baughman on Thursday, April 2, 1953 in Salina, KS.
David is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Hertha.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Mark and Craig Tozier.
There will be no public services, per the family's request.
