Elizabeth Wilson

Elizabeth "Betty" (Breon) Wilson, 85, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007.
Betty was born August 18, 1922, to Samuel and Emilie Breon, in Sabetha, Kansas. She spent her childhood there and graduated from Sabetha High School in 1940. After graduation she worked various office jobs in Sabetha.
On June 9, 1945, she married Theodore "Bud" Wilson, and they moved to St. Joseph in the early 1950's. Bud preceded her in death after more than 50 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Dawn K. (Wilson) Adler of Maryland, a grandson Samuel B. Wilson, and her sister Viola (Breon) West of Goodland Kansas.
She is survived by two sons, Theodore "Ted" Wilson of San Diego, Calf., Kip and his wife Diane, of St. Joseph, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Family graveside services will be held at 11:00, on Wednesday, 9-12-07, at the Morrill, Ks. Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour before services at the Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Heart Association.
