G eorge Bien, 86, of Sabetha died Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Sabetha Community Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sabetha.  A parish rosary will be recited on Friday evening 7:00 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m.  The inurnment will be made in the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church Cemetery at Fidelity, south of Sabetha.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to Nemaha County Home Health & Hospice sent in care of the Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha.
