J acqueline Lynn Wilson (Nana), 71, of Centralia, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Eastridge Nursing Facility in Centralia, Kansas surrounded by her loved ones.

Jackie was born on August 16, 1948 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the daughter of Ivan Wayne and Donna Joyce (Scott) Donovan.  She graduated in 1967 from Bora Bora High School in Boise, Idaho.  After graduation she moved to California until 1993. She then moved to Horton, Kansas to take care of her parents. In 2005 she moved to Centralia, Kansas to be near her family.

She was a member of the St Bede’s Parish.   She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at ball games, fishing and quilting. She loved reading and doing puzzles.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Donna Donovan; her siblings, Joyce Ann, Marvin and Michael, as well as her son-in-law, Larry Cope.

Jackie “Nana” Wilson is survived by her daughters, Donna Cope of El Dorado Hills, CA and Dawnn (Keith) Henry of Centralia, KS; her grandchildren and their significant others, Andrew Wilson of Centralia, KS, Maegan Cope and Lauren Cope both of El Dorado Hills, CA, Nick (Shayla) Russo of Centralia, KS, Alex Russo (Jenny Deters) of Topeka, KS, Alan Russo (Brittnee Bailey) and their son, Jaxzon Russo of Tempe, AZ. Jackie was a very proud grandmother to 6 grandchildren and had eagerly awaited the arrival of her great-grandson, Jaxzon who was born the day prior to her passing.

A Celebration of Life for Jackie will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Popkess Memorial Chapel in Seneca, Kansas. Inurnment will be made in the Horton Cemetery at a later date and time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastridge Nursing Facility, sent in care of Popkess Memorial Chapel, 814 Castle, Seneca, KS 66538.
