James Hill

James William Hill, 57, Axtell, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital, Seneca.
He was born September 21, 1949 at the Axtell Hospital, Axtell the son of William O. Hill and Barbara N. Deane. He graduated from Axtell High School in 1967.
He worked as a machinist and lately had worked at Koch & Co., Seneca.
Mr. Hill is a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the VFW, Sabetha and a former member of the R.R Hendricks Post #214 of the American Legion, Axtell.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Hill, Axtell; a daughter, Amanda Hill, Topeka; two brothers, Mike Hill, Sabetha and Bob Hill, Axtell; and two sisters, Carol Hill, Axtell and Tina Nightingale, Pawnee City, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April, 25, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Landreth-Popkess Funeral Home, Axtell. Casket bearers will be Don Young, Jordon, Hill, Chad Hill, Mike Hill, Jud Hill and Ryan Hill. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Axtell.
Memorial contributions may be left the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and left in care of the funeral home. Landreth-Popkess Funeral Home in Axtell is in charge of arrangements.
