Judy Ann (Wells) Neal died on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Sabetha Community Hospital at the age of 67. Judy was born on November 30, 1943 in Falls City, Nebraska and grew up in the Honey Creek area in Nebraska. She graduated from Sabetha High School. Judy worked for many years at the phone company in Sabetha and later managed properties for Sun Communities in Edwardsville, Kansas as well as Weslaco, Texas. As a young woman, Judy was active in the Sabetha Saddle Club. Judy was a wonderful cook, an avid reader and dog-lover.
Survivors include her son, Louis Fulton of Sabetha; her mother, Helen Wells of Sabetha; two sisters, Sally Hartter of Sabetha and Phylurie Johns of White Settlement, Texas and granddaughter Kourtnay Fulton, 2 great-grandchildren, and many friends. Judy was preceded in death by her birth mother, Helen (Hansen) Wells, an infant daughter, Michelle, and her father, Lowell Wells.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:00 am at Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha with visitation preceding the service at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions can be made to Sabetha Community Hospital.
