Kaeliauna Young

Kaeliauna RaeAnn Young, 10, of Seneca, KS., passed away, Sunday, November 4th, 2007 peacefully at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Kaeliauna was born in Topeka, Kansas on July 25, 1997, the daughter of Corey Andrew and Jennifer Dawn (LeRow) Young. She attended fourth grade at Nemaha Valley Grade School in Seneca. She was also a member of the Chester R. Kerl American Legion Post #39 of Dubois, NE. She also had recently attended "Camp Quality" for Kids at Stewartsville, MO.

Kaeliauna is survived by her parents, Corey and Jennifer Young of Seneca, KS; Grandparents - Carl and Phyllis Smith, DuBois, NE, Phyllis LeRow, Seneca, KS and Danny and Pam LeRow of Eudora, KS.; brothers - Joshua and Jonathan Young of the home in Seneca, KS; sisters - Ashlyn, Christina, Carrie and Brianna Young all of the home in Seneca, KS.

Funeral Services will be at the Northridge Church, Sabetha, Kansas, at 10:00am on Saturday, November 10th, with Pastor Charles Robinson officiating. She will lie in state at the funeral home all day Friday and friends are invited to call with family present Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Popkess Mortuary in Seneca, KS. Casket bearers are Jerry Andrews, John Cavric, Travis Ralph, Mark Wessel, Martin Schmelzle and Jim Winkler. Honorary casket bearers are fellow fourth grade classmates of Kaeliauna 's. Interment will be in the at Dubois Cemetery, Dubois, NE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kaeliauna Young Memorial Fund or stuffed animals may be given for children at Children's Mercy Hospital and sent in care of the Popkess Mortuary, Seneca.
