Kathleen Kellenberger

Kathleen Ann Kellenberger was born on January 6, 1970 the daughter of Tom Leman and Marlene (Stoller) Leman at Elgin, Illinois. She was one of six children born to this union. She grew up in the Elgin area and moved with her family to Aurora, Colorado in 1982. She attended and graduated from Rangeview High School in Aurora, Colorado. She worked for Met Life Insurance Company and Great Western Insurance Company in Colorado. She was united in marriage to Arthur Kellenberger on December 30, 2001. After their marriage they moved to Sabetha, Kansas. Kathleen was baptized on May of 1985 into the Apostolic Christian Church in Aurora, Colorado.


Kathleen died on September 24, 2009 at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas at the age of 39. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kris Bauman; two nephews Jonathan Bauman and David Bauman; grandparents, Wilmer Leman and Lavina Leman and Ezra Stoller and Martha Stoller. She is survived by her parents, Tom Leman and Marlene Leman of Aurora, Colorado; her husband, Arthur Kellenberger of the home in Morrill, Kansas; three brothers, Mike Leman and his wife, Deb of Aurora, Colorado, Doug Leman of Vero Beach, Florida and Ed Leman and his wife, Gail of Congerville, Illinois; one sister, Carol Kaufman and her husband, Keith of Sabetha, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be Monday, September 28, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church in Sabetha. A family visitation will be Sunday evening 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. The interment will be in the Sabetha Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery. Memorial contribution to a fund yet to be designated by the family sent in care of the funeral home.
