Lena Edelman

L ena R. Edelman, 78 of Sabetha died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha. She was born on January 15, 1936 the daughter of Alphia Edelman and Emma (Stahl) Edelman at Sabetha, Kansas. She grew up in the Sabetha area. She enjoyed gardening, housework and people. She also worked at the Nemaha County Training Center at Sabetha and Seneca. She spent the last years of life at the Apostolic Christian Home. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clemens Edelman. She is survived by two sisters, Karoline Edelman and Doris Meyer both of Sabetha; five brothers, Richard Edelman of Beloit, Kansas, Gene Edelman, Leonard Edelman, Orin Edelman and Nathan Edelman all of Sabetha and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Apostolic Church in Sabetha. A visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. The interment will be made in the Sabetha Cemetery.
