Lily Jane Morrison, 72, of Centralia, KS, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center in Topeka, KS.

She was born August 15, 1935 the daughter of Clyde Stephen Lewis and Myrtle Adelaide Brokaw-Lewis at Frankfort, KS. She grew up in the Frankfort area and graduated from Frankfort High School in 1954.

On May 23, 1954 she married Wilbur Morrison at Frankfort. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1999. Jane and Wilbur raised their family in Centralia, KS. Jane and Wilbur worked hard to care for their family, Jane had worked at the Campbell Soup factory in Tecumseh, NE, the Dress Factory and Golden Acres Nursing Home both of Onaga, The Eastridge Care Home in Centralia and she had cared for children in her own home.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Centralia and the United Methodist Women's group and the Quilting Club of Centralia, KS.

Jane is survived by two sons, John Morrison Sr. and Jerry Morrison both of Baileyville, KS; five daughters, Connie Heiman of Seneca, KS, Janice Smith of Brenda, AZ, Julie Oliver of Hoyt, KS, Debbie Koch of Baileyville, KS, Diana "Deea�? Koch of Denison, KS; three brothers and four sisters, Vera Lee Durham of Topeka, KS, Jenny Jeffries of Frankfort, KS, Harvey Lewis of Edgar, NE, Arland Lewis of Fritch, TX, MaryAnna Taylor of Park City, KS, Karen Kelley of Wakarusa, KS, and Bill Lewis of Goddard, KS; 22 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by one great grandson four sisters and one brother.

Memorial services will be Friday, May 23, 2008 at 11:00 at the United Methodist Church in Centralia, KS. The Rev. Deborah Hanes-Nelson will conduct the service. Private family inurnment services will be in the Baileyville Cemetery at a later date.

There will be a family visitation Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 7:00 a�" 8:30 PM at the Hayes-Popkess Funeral Home in Centralia, KS.

In Lieu of flowers the family request memorials be left to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital Building Project, or the United Methodist Church of Centralia, KS and may be sent in care of the Hayes Popkess Funeral Home, Centralia.
