Linda Lea (Kerr) Strahm, age 81, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away August 3, 2022, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha, Kansas. She was born to the late Welby and Irene Kerr on March 31, 1941, in Bern, Kansas.
The family moved from Kansas to Underwood, Iowa in 1954.
After Linda graduated from High School in 1959, she attended Barnes Beauty in Council Bluffs, Iowa and was a hairdresser for 50 years.
She was united in marriage to Stanley Lewis Strahm on October 11, 1964, at Underwood Lutheran Church in Underwood, Iowa then moved to Lincoln, Nebraska.
Linda loved China painting, glass art, and her flowers. She also enjoyed the time she and Stan spent in Arizona in the winters, Colorado in the summers, and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Welby and Irene Kerr; her brother, James Kerr; and her infant sister, Shirley Beth Kerr.
Linda is survived by her husband, Stan; her daughter, Amy (Bryce) Wendland; her son, Arlon Strahm; her five grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; her sister, Judy (Kerr) Dovenbarger; her brother, Larry (Bonnie) Kerr; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time. The body will lie in state on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Popkess Mortuary.
