Lindsey Garner

Lindsey Shea Garner, 20, of Fairview passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 9, 2008 at her home in Topeka. Even at her young age, Lindsey had become a strong, beautifully spirited young lady. She was quick to laugh and brought her family and friends great joy. Lindsey was born on August 24, 1988 in Pueblo, Colorado. Her and her parents moved to Fairview, Kansas when she was 11 months old. She attended Sabetha schools and graduating from Sabetha High School in 2006. During her high school years Lindsey worked at the Sabetha Dairy Queen and spent time helping her mother with daycare at their home in Fairview. Caring for those children and new babies found a special place in Lindsey's heart.


After graduating from high school she had attended Washburn University and was employed at The Eye Doctors of Topeka. Lindsey was a passionate lover of her family and friends and her one and only Rudy. Though her family grieves and mourns her loss they are blessed to have been touched by her love and family devotion. Her family id comforted knowing that she has become perfect in God.


She is survived by her parents, Mel and Cheryl Garner of Fairview; maternal grandparents, Carl and Barbara Campbell of Axtell; adopted grandmother, Ann Tozier of Fairview; her aunts and uncles, Carla and David Farifield, their children, Evan, Kelsey and Russ. Angie and Mark Pippia, their children, Michelle Miller and her family, Andrea and Jessica. Cindy Jones and her children, Nathan Jones and his family, Jeremy and McKenna.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. A family visitation will be Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. The interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Axtell, Kansas. Memorial contribution may be made to the Lindsey Garner memorial fund sent in care of the funeral home.
