Lois Jones

Lois Maxine (Yocum) Jones, aged 72, of Dawson, NE (formerly of Sabetha), passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS.
Lois was born the daughter of Albert and Gladys (Wolfe) Groves in Jewell County, KS on Tuesday, March 26, 1935.
Lois was united in marriage to Owen Yocum. He passed away in 1967. She later married William Jones and he passed away in 1970.
Survivors include her father, Albert Groves; sons, David Yocum and wife, Glen, Grant Yocum, Johnny Yocum, and Brian Jones and wife, Renee; daughters, Rosie Epke, and Glenda Jones; daughter-in-law, Linda Yocum; brother, Larry Groves; sisters, Opal Hollis Donker and Ila Specht; brother in law Lynn Yocum and wife, Carol; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys; first husband, Owen Yocum; second husband William Jones and son, Alan Yocum.
A visitation will be held at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 from 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10AM also at the chapel. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Beloit, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Ladies Auxiliary #7285 of Sabetha.
