Margaret Kendall

M argaret Irene Kendall died Friday, August 23, 2013. She was born to Chas. E. and Blanche (Bestwick) McKim at Hiawatha, Kansas on July 30, 1919. At an early age the family moved to Sabetha where she attended the Sabetha schools. Soon after graduation she moved to Seneca where she was employed in the office of the Farm Security Administration, a branch of the Federal Government.
After two years she returned to Sabetha where she worked 15 years in the office of the Nemaha Cooperative Creamery before moving to Wichita where she was employed in the offices of Beech Aircraft Corporation for 27 years before her retirement in 1984.
She was married to Weldon Kendall. They later were divorced.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her sister, Mrs. Orville Strahm (Lillian McKim).
Survivors include three nephews, Larry Strahm (Billie), Terry Strahm (Baya), Kerry Strahm (Elena), and their families.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Morrill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Brethren in Christ Church, 300 South 12 th Street Sabetha, Kansas 66534 sent in care of Popkess Mortuary 823 Virginia Sabetha, Kansas 66534.
