Marie (Ehrsam) Eubanks

Marie (Ehrsam) Eubanks, 92, of Bern, Kansas died on Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha, Kansas. 

Marie was born on May 7, 1931, to Fred and Anna (Reist) Ehrsam in Bern, Kansas. She started her teaching career at the Ehrsam country school and Berwick country school.  Marie continued her teaching career in Kansas City where she taught both middle school and high school.  Marie was united in marriage to Donald Eubanks on November 7, 1953.  Marie enjoyed bird watching and feeding birds, crossword puzzles, and reading.  She volunteered at the Bern Library. 

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald. 

Marie is survived by her children, Fritz (Kathy) Eubanks of Dublin, Ohio, Kathleen (Ed) Beashore of Bern, Kansas, Kerry Eubanks of Pella, Iowa, and Maureen (Drew) Walker of Burleson, Texas; her six grandchildren; and her three great-grandchildren.  She will be remembered and loved by her family.
