Marilyn Jo (Carr) Manning, 82, of Morrill, Kansas, left her earthly home for her eternal home on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
Marilyn was born on February 21, 1943, in Falls City, Nebraska, to Norman and Mary (Wissman) Carr. She grew up and attended school in Falls City, graduating from Falls City Sacred Heart. She was married and had three children. After raising her children to adulthood, she married Tim Manning on October 9, 1989, and they enjoyed 36 wonderful years of marriage.
Marilyn made many sacrifices throughout her life, but that’s because she loved so hard, and she would have done it a hundred times over. She loved life, the outdoors, and sunshine. Her interests included camping, reading, puzzle books, and watching the game show network.
Marilyn deeply loved God, her husband, her children, and her grandchildren unconditionally, and she cherished time spent with them. She also loved and cared deeply for her family and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Derek Henrichs; her in-laws, Dave and Ruth Manning; her brothers-in-law, Tom Manning and Gerald Fritz; and her sister-in-law, Deloris Carr.
She is survived by her husband, Tim; and her three children, Lynn (Billy) Brown, Terry (Carrie) Henrichs, and Theresa (Aaron) Chamberlain; her eight grandchildren; her 14 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Norma (Gerald) Fritz, Jackie (Philip) Muller, and Patty (Barry) Trouba; her brother, Bernie (Muriel) Carr; her two brothers-in-law, David (Tina) Manning, Dan (Vickie) Manning; and her two sisters-in-law, Karen (Les) Bronson and Kathy (Mike) Manning.
