Marjorie Fountain

Marjorie Fountain passed away July 3, 2009 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha at the age of 85. Marjorie was born on May 4, 1924, the daughter of Ewell and Roxie (Sullivan) Asher in Boring, Kentucky. She married Albert Fountain on May 11, 1952 in Sabetha, Kansas. Marjorie and Albert enjoyed traveling and loved their many cats.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Ewell and Roxie Asher; and her husband Albert on June 7, 2007.
Survivors include one brother, Ed Asher and his wife Vivian of Largo, Florida; a sister-in-law, Judy Fountain of Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends that were like family.
A memorial service will be held at the Isely Cemetery in Fairview, Kansas on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be left to A.S.P.C.A (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) or to South Park Highrise Apartments, sent in care of Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha
