Martha Robinson

September 27, 1925 — December 9, 2019

M artha Joan (Koehler) Robinson, 94, of Sabetha, Kansas went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 9, 2019.

Martha was born September 27, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the daughter of Charles and Rose (Beck) Koehler. She graduated from Frankford High School in Philadelphia in 1943.

Martha married James B. Robinson on September of 1948. To this union were born five children. She also lavished her love on fourteen foster children. She was always singing or humming, and loved gardening and birds. Martha will be remembered for her delicious meals and family dinners every Sunday. She modeled complete faith and trust in Jesus, living with grace through many difficult times.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James B. Robinson; her son, Jimmy; her daughter, Carol; and two grandsons, Abram Charles Robinson and Scott Charles Keely.

She is survived by her daughters, Martha Keely and Ruth (Mike) Oom both of Sabetha, KS; her son, Charles (Judi) Robinson of Sabetha, KS; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the NorthRidge Church in Sabetha. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to service time at the church. The interment will be made in the Sabetha Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Bryce & Alicia Lee or Josh & Kristi Aberle, sent in care of Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia Street, Sabetha, KS 66534.
