Mary Ann Hasenkamp, 75, of Seneca, formerly of Wetmore, died Monday, December 12, 2011. Mary was born July 9, 1936 in
Lincoln
, Nebraska
, the daughter of Byron and Nellie (Miner) Johnson. She graduated from Albin High School in Albin, Wyoming. Mary was united in marriage to Leo Hasenkamp on December 28, 1957 in Albin, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo on September 1, 1997; two children, Joseph Hasenkamp and Leona Hasenkamp; and one brother, Robert Johnson.
Survivors include her son, Tracey Hasenkamp of Wetmore, Kansas; two daughters, Nellie Hasenkamp of Burns, Wyoming and Rosemary Hanna of Topeka, Kansas; one brother, Billy Johnson of Burns, Wyoming; two sisters, Doris Sorensen and Carol Sorensen both of Albin, Wyoming; four grandchildren, Kimberly Kolbek, Andi Schreiner, Mary Schreiner, and Joseph Hanna; and five great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial is Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Axtell. A parish rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. with the mass to follow. Father Albert Hauser Will celebrate the Mass. The St. Michaels Choir will Sing and Kathy Buessing will be the organist. Ellie Haverkamp will be the cantor. Casket bearers are Junior Holthaus, Kieran Holthaus, Steve Hasenkamp, Bruce Hasenkamp, Orville Hutfles, and Louis Droge. Interment will be in the St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are being left to the Mary Hasenkamp Memorial Fund, a specific charity will be named at a later date.
