Mona Little

M ona Lee (McConnell) Little, 92, of Sabetha, Kansas passed on Friday, May 6th, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha.
Mona was born August 29, 1923 in Pike County, Illinois to Mitchell and Aila (Foster) McConnell. She was the fourth of five children. She married the late Donald Parker Little. She is survived by two daughters; Lynda and Connie; one son, Don (Shari), 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mona delighted a multitude of friends and family with her wit and charm, which will be greatly missed. Mona's advice, "Learn all you can, help other people, take care of your children, and if there's a job to be done at home, do it first and then go play."
A Memorial Service is planned for the first weekend in August in Winchester, Illinois. The exact day and time will be determined later. The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sabetha Community Hospital and the Apostolic Christian Home sent in care of the funeral home, 823 Virginia, Sabetha, Kansas 66534.
