Nancy Lee Bromley, 75 of Seneca, KS died Tuesday May 17 th , 2011 at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca.
She was born October 25, 1935 in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of George Harold Smith and Lovenia Bloom Ankney Smith. She grew up in Lawrence and was baptized at the St. Johns Catholic Church in Lawrence.
She had lived in Lawrence for many years prior to moving to Seneca where she made her home for the approximately last 8 years.
Nancy was a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca.
She is survived by a son, David Rinke of Lawrence, KS; three daughters, Peggy Lang of Lyndon, KS, Linda Anderson of Havelock, NC, and Laurie Streit of Seneca, KS; three sisters, Sue Wright, Betty Bristow and Karen Bristow all of Jackson MI; A brother Darrell Durham of Jackson, MI five grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold “Kouch” Smith and a sister Pat Pond.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday May 31 st , 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Father Mike Koller will celebrate the Mass. The church choir will sing.
Memorials are being left to the Nancy Bromley Memorial Fund. A specific charity will be named at a later date. Memorials may be sent in care of the funeral home.
The Popkess Memorial Chapel assisted the Bromely family with the arrangements.
