Norma Riddle
March 5, 1935 — March 29, 2008
Norma J. Riddle, 73, of Sabetha, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Sabetha Manor under hospice care.
She was born March 5, 1935 in Falls City, NE to Clifford and Catherine Halbert.
She attended Honey Creek schools at Salem, NE and went on to receive degrees from Peru State and Kansas State Universities.
She devoted many years to teaching special education. The last eight years before her retirement, she was the director of special education at the Marshall-Nemaha Special Education Co-op.
Her daughter, Amy Jean Banks, preceded her in death.
Norma is survived by her son, Ned Lee Banks of Ozawkie; grandson, Justin Lee; four step-grandchildren; nine great step-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Rokey of Sabetha, Mary Kimmel of McClouth, LouElla Shafer of Falls City, Linda Buchholz of Sabetha and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Sabetha Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Nemaha County hospice, in care of the funeral home.
