Orin Leo Edelman

Orin Leo Edelman, 97, of Sabetha, Kansas passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha.

Orin was born October 31, 1926, in Sabetha, Kansas to Alphia and Emma (Stahl) Edelman. He grew up on the family farm west of Berwick, Kansas.  Orin graduated from the eighth grade from National 107.  

Orin worked for Korber Farms west of Bern, Kansas for two years, and then he returned to the family farm.  Orin raised livestock, farmed the land, and performed custom chopping.   Orin had a talent for mechanics which enabled him to repair and make various items that he needed for his farming operation.  Orin maintained his farming operation until his health began to fail.  He spent his last years at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha.

Orin was preceded in death by his parents; his three sisters, Karoline, Berniece, and Lena Edelman; his three brothers, Clemens, Richard, and Eugene Edelman; and his two sisters-in-law, Judith and Shirley Edelman.

Orin is survived by his two brothers, Leonard (Anna) Edelman and Nathan (Marlene) Edelman; his sister, Doris (Virgil) Meyer; and his sister-in-law, Marjorie Edelman.
