Rachel Garcia

Rachel (Decker) Garcia, 31, of Sabetha died on April 3, 2012. She was born on May 14, 1980 in Hiawatha, Kansas. She lived in Sabetha until she moved to Indiana at age 7. When she was 22, she moved back to Sabetha and got her GED. She was a happy girl even as she struggled with diabetes. She was a joy to be around and made people laugh. She had many friends and will be missed greatly.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Loren Decker. She is survived by her parents, Ron Decker and Juanita Carlson and two brothers, William Carlson and Eric Carlson.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Sabetha. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be sent in care of Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha.
