Randy Stover

Randy Lee Stover, 55, of Sabetha died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. He was born on November 26, 1955 the son of Stanley Grant Stover and Hazel E. (Livengood) Stover at Hiawatha, Kansas. He was one of three sons born to this union. Randy attended the Morrill schools and Sabetha schools. He worked on the family farm until 1974 when his family moved into Morrill.   Randy moved to Sabetha in 1998. He was a part of the Nemaha County Training Center for the past 13 years and during this time he worked for Bill Simpson Chiropractic, City of Sabetha and Crosswind Foods. Randy was a member of the Trinity Church of the Brethren where he served as an usher and lighting the candles before church services. He was an avid Bluejay Booster, K.U. fan and was known to have an incredible memory.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gary Grant Stover. He is survived by one brother, Larry Stover of Morrill, Kansas and nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity Church of the Brethren in Sabetha. A visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. The interment will be made in the Morrill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nemaha County Training Center or the Trinity Church of the Brethren sent in care of the funeral home.
