Raymond J. Luther of Summerfield, KS, passed away on January 4, 2010 after a brief illness.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, to the late Raymond and Pauline (Marcil) Luther he is survived by his three children Raymond J. Luther of Bloomington, IN, Margaret A. Luther of Seattle, WA, and Elizabeth M. Luther of Milford, MA, his brother Stephen E. Luther of Pawtucket, RI and his sister Jeannie Burke of Seekonk, MA and brother to the late Kenneth M. Luther of Pawtucket, RI.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War discharged with honor. An Economics Major from Bryant College with an MBA from the University of Indiana, he most recently championed the rights of veterans.
The family is planning services in Rhode Island at a later date.
Landreth-Popkess Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
