Richard Michael Kelly, 54, Axtell, KS, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, May 26, 2008.
He was born August 8, 1953 in Logan's Porte, IN one of 6 sons born to Robert M. Kelly and Shirley Downs Kelly. He graduated from high school in Michigan City, IN and attended 3 years of college in Indiana.
Richard worked for 10 years this May as a purchasing agent for Koch & Co. in Seneca, KS.
He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Spring Creek Public Golf Course and golfed on the Men's League every week at the course.
He is survived by one daughter LaRee Kelly-Warner and her husband Ian of Woodland Park, Co; His parents Robert and Shirley Kelly of Michigan City, IN; five brothers and their families, Robert and Cindy Kelly of Chesterton, IN, David and Jane of Dayton, FL, Gary and Tammy of Franklin, IN, Gregory and Nan of Michigan City, IN and Jeff and Julie of Oak Hill, VA; and many close co-workers and friends.
A celebration of life service and visitation will be this Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the Spring Creek Golf Courses Club House.
A memorial is being left in Richard's memory and may be sent in care of the Popkess Mortuary, Seneca, KS.
