Richard Werner

R ichard “Rick” L. Werner, 62, of Horton, Kansas passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home.

Rick was born July 31, 1956 in Falls City, Nebraska the son of Charles and Betty (Brown) Werner.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

Rick is survived by his wife, Shelly of the home; two sons, Ric Werner (Tiffany) of St. Louis, Missouri, and Gunner Werner (Danielle) of Hiawatha, Kansas; a daughter, Sienna Clary (Josh) of Sabetha, Kansas; Gunner and Sienna’s mother, Roxanne Werner of Sabetha, Kansas; step-children, DJ Cattrel (Ashley) and Shannon DePrey (DJ) both of Falls City, Nebraska; two brothers, Roger Werner (Rhonda) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Gene Griffith (Bonnie) of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Patricia Parish of St. Angelo, Texas; grandchildren, Gabriel Werner and Olivia Werner; seven step-grandchildren; and his NA family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Main Event in Sabetha, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
