Robert Snyder

R obert E. Snyder, 80, of Sabetha, KS passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Robert was born November 11, 1937 in Sabetha, KS the son of Eldon and Lena (Radar) Snyder.  He attended Derby High School and graduated with the class of 1955.  While in high school Robert was an avid basketball player.

Robert worked for Sears in Wichita, KS for 26 years as a delivery appliance driver.  He enjoyed playing basketball with his children and taking family camping trips to Roaring River State Park in Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Daryl Snyder; and a sister, Delores Kirby.

Robert is survived by his children, Mark (Heather) Snyder of Salina, KS, Brad (Annette) Snyder of Rogers, AR, Shellie (Greg) Reynolds of Derby, KS, Lorri Perkins of Lincoln, CA; his sister, Phyllis Meece of Wichita, KS; a sister-in-law, Xiao han Snyder of Aliso Viejo, CA; and 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Sabetha. Inurnment will take place in the Morrill Cemetery at a later date and time.
