Ruby I. Wroth, 92, of Topeka, formerly of Centralia passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Stormont Vail Medical Center in Topeka.
Ruby was born July 19, 1918 near Corning, KS on the family farm to Andrew Aeschliman and Rose Staehli Aeschliman. She attended school near Corning and graduated from Corning High School.
She married Lee Roy Wroth in 1951 at Hoyt, KS. He preceded Ruby in death on January 30, 1987.

Ruby is survived by four daughters, Rose and husband Lewis Barrett of Mayetta, KS, Norma husband Rich Hertlein of Topeka, KS and, Chris Valdivia of Topeka and Jody Lubbers of Plevna, KS; and one sister, Helen Coe of Soldier, KS; eight grandchildren, Brian, Mark, Sarah, Drew, Josh, Ashley, Shane and Mitch and eight great grandchildren, Nathan, Adrian, Olivia, Brock, Daihkovin, Daihmetri, Xavier and MaKynley.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Andrew "Jimmy" Wroth who died in 1958, a great grandson Isaiah Valdivia in 2007and four sisters, Opal Stalcup, Alvina Shafer, Edna Aeschliman and Ruth Aeschliman.
Funeral Services will be Friday July 30, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Hayes-Popkess Funeral Home in Centralia, KS. Rev. Deanna J. Lewis will conduct the services. Julie Gleason will sing "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and "The Rose". Casket bearers are Brian Lubbers, Mark Lubbers, Shane Barrett, Mitchell Barrett Andrew Wroth, Joshua Valdivia and Matthew Basaldua. Burial will be in the Centralia Cemetery.
Memorials are being left to the American Diabetes Association and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
