Walter L. Puvogel

Walter L. Puvogel, 91, of Sabetha, Kansas passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha.

Walter was born on June 23, 1932, to Louis and Emma (Boss) Puvogel.  Walter was united in marriage to Bonnie (Fugua) Puvogel on January 1, 1963.  Walter worked many years for Mid America Dairy in Sabetha.  Through the years, he enjoyed working with and raising livestock.  Walter also enjoyed playing cards, checkers, and marbles.  In addition, he was active in a bowling league.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bonnie on November 9, 2014; his youngest daughter, Lori Puvogel; and his brothers, Virgil and Lawrence Puvogel.

Survivors include his two daughters, Teressa (Jim) Plank of Owasso, Oklahoma and Lisa (Kevin) Werth of Ozawkie, Kansas; his brother, Marvin (Gwen) Puvogel of Paola, Kansas; his two grandsons, Aaron (Stephanie) Plank of Puyallup, Washington and Timothy Plank of Owasso, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. 

Per Walter’s request, a private family graveside service will be held.
