Wanda Maureen Glenn, age 82, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. She was born April 22, 1928 in Sabetha, Kansas, the 7th child born to Hugh Ashley, and Coloma Jane (Record) Glenn.
She married Thomas Walter Hagen in 1948 and had two daughters. Wanda spent her happiest years as a wife and mother.
She moved to Missouri in 1979 where she worked for five years as a nurse at the Missouri State Rehabilitation Hospital until she retired in 1984.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Dwight Eldon, Leon Ashley, Paul Stanley, and Willis Owen; and sisters, Donna Grace and Rachel Jane.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lawanda Susan Hagen, Clever, Missouri, and Linda Beth (Hagen) Roberts, state of California; two grandchildren, Heather Maureen Hagen, Clever, Missouri, and Charles Hagen Roberts, state of New York; other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha, Kansas. Burial will follow the service in the Sabetha Cemetery. Memorial contribution may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, 330 N. Jefferson, Springfield, Missouri 65806.
