Born Into Love, Forever in Our Hearts
Celebrating the Life Of Wesley Lane LaCruze
With hearts overflowing with love, we announce the birth of our precious son, Wesley Lane LaCruze, born on July 31, 2026, to Nathan and Kylie LaCruze.
Though Wesley's time in our arms was marked by only a few precious breaths, he changed our lives forever. In those fleeting moments, he knew nothing but love. He was eagerly awaited, deeply cherished, and will always remain a beloved part of our family. While our hearts carry the unimaginable weight of missing him, they are also filled with gratitude for the privilege of meeting him and holding him close.
Wesley was deeply loved by his grandparents, Megan McDonald and Josh Bechtelheimer of Sabetha, Kansas, Kyle and Ashleigh Meredith of Topeka, Kansas, Kelly LaCruze of Reno, Nevada, and Dennis LaCruze Jr. of Reno, Nevada; as well as by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members; and dear friends who had already filled his life with love long before he arrived.
Although his journey on earth was incredibly brief, Wesley's life has left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of everyone who loves him. He will forever be remembered, forever missed, and forever loved beyond measure.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Psalm 34:18
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
Matthew 5:4
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain."
Revelation 21:4
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb... all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
Psalm 139:13-16
Above all, your prayers, kindness, and love mean more than words can express. However, for those who have asked how they can help, memorial contributions to assist the family with medical expenses are greatly appreciated and can be sent in care of the Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia Street, Sabetha, Kansas 66534.
